Louisville Bats 3, Memphis Redbirds 12

Yikes. Riley O’Brien gave up 7 runs in 3 innings. He was followed up by Carson Fulmer who allowed 5 in only 1.1 innings. The Bats were held to only 3 runs despite out-hitting the Redbirds 11-10. Alejo Lopez scored 2 of those runs in a 2 for 4 night. Alfredo “Sauce” Rodriguez went 2 for 5 with a double and Michael De Leon went 2 for 4 with a double and also drove in a run.

Chattanooga Lookouts 6, Mississippi Braves 5

Chattanooga scored all 6 runs in the last 3 innings, including 3 in the bottom of the 8th, to pull out the 6-5 win last night. Ricky Salinas started and went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits with no walks and 7 strikeouts. Lorenzo Cedrola went 3 for 4 with a run scored and a RBI. Matt Lloyd “Christmas” went 2 for 4 and also drove in a run while Robbie Tenerowicz went 2 for 4 with a double and scored a run. Julio Pinto went 1.1 innings in relief and struck out 2.

Dayton Dragons 9, Fort Wayne TinCaps 2

Dayton beat the brakes off Fort Wayne last night. It was a bullpen game for the Dragons but everyone pitched pretty well. Thomas Farr “Walt” allowed a run an struck out 4 in 3 innings. Spencer “Beef” Stockton struck out 3 in 2 scoreless innings while Stevie Branche also struck out 3 in 2 scoreless innings. Matt McLain continues to hit the ball well, going 2 for 4 with a 3-run dinger and Allen “Mattress” Cerda went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI.

Daytona Tortugas 7, Palm Beach Cardinals 2

Andrew Abbott started for Daytona on Wednesday and went 3 scoreless innings, allowing no his and 3 walks with 5 strikeouts. Tyler Garbee followed him up with 4 scoreless innings with a walk and 4 strikeouts. Jose Torres went 2 for 5 with a 2-run home run and a triple and had 4 total RBI. Rece “Piece” Hinds went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and a run scored.
