News
- The Reds fought off a late comeback and won the first game of the series last night. They have a good chance to make up a little ground on Milwaukee, as the Brewers are hosting the San Francisco Giants.
- That being said, it is still going to take a lot to catch them in the division. The Reds have gone 7-2 over their last 9 and have made up exactly half a game in the standings over that time. The NL Wild Card is much more attainable, as they trail San Diego by only 3.5 games at this point.
Roster Moves
- Mike Moustakas is back tonight and hitting 5th.
- The Reds optioned Mike Freeman in order to make room for the Moose. Notably absent from the lineup tonight is Eugenio Suarez.
Game Info
7:10 PM start, Bally Sports Ohio, WLW.
