Baseball, or something similar.

Anything happen between the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs last night? Anything at all?

I see the Reds lost. Drat. Surely it wasn’t a dramatic collapse, or anything.

Surely.

News

  • Lucas Sims is officially heading to AAA Louisville to begin a rehab assigment.
  • The Enquirer’s Bobby Nightengale relayed that each of Alex Blandino and Nick Senzel are set to begin rehab assignments within the week, too. No word yet on Tejay Antone and Mike Lorenzen though, sadly.
  • The Philadelphia Phillies have traded for Pittsburgh pitcher Tyler Anderson. The Phillies are a half-game behind the Reds in the dwindling chase for the 2nd NL Wild Card spot, and are actively adding to their roster. Imagine that.

Roster Moves

  • None since yesterday, when Alejo Lopez was optioned to AAA Louisville when Amir Garrett came off the paternity list.
