The Reds used another great start by Luis Castillo to win their second game of the series on Saturday. They will turn the ball over to Tyler Mahle today to try and win the 4-game set. Go Reds.

News

  • In case you missed it yesterday, Sonny Gray made a rehab appearance in Louisville and threw 3 shutout innings. He did walk 3 batters, but none of that matters as long as his groin felt good.
  • Max Schrock is being sent to Louisville to start a rehab assignment for his calf strain.
  • Reds’ reliever Tejay Antone had a MRI yesterday that revealed no UCL damage, according to C. Trent Rosecrans. The goal is to have him back right after the All-Star Break.
  • The Braves optioned former Red Tanner Roark to Triple-A in order to make room for today’s starter, Kyle Muller.
