Something a little different today, as we’re trying something new with how we do our daily link dump/game preview. Like it? Hate it? Don’t care? Tell us in the comments below. Or don’t.
News
- In case you missed it, Hunter Greene is headed to Louisville. He takes the place of Tony Santillan, who is now on the big league roster. It’s only a matter of time before Hunter and Nick Lodolo are pitching big innings in Cincinnati.
- All-Star Voting is happening right now. Current best two hitters on the planet Nick Castellanos and Jesse Winker are #2 and #3 on the OF list right now, and Tucker Barnhart is making his presence known staying on the ballot for catchers. Vote now, vote later, keep voting.
- MLBTR did some speculating on if the Reds are buyers or sellers at the deadline. Wick did an excellent job of breaking the situation down, so I won’t belabor it, but man, it feels early to be talking about deadline stuff.
Roster Moves
- None today, shockingly!

Lineups
The Reds have Aristides Aquino back in the starting lineup in CF, in what has to be the most formidable offensive outfield in baseball. Good gravy.

Willy Adames torched Vlad last time they faced each other, so no surprise he’s back in the lineup.
Riding a 4-game win streak into tonight's series!
