The Reds will have to shift their infield around a bit, so expect Mike Moustakas to move to 1B for the time being. I’d expect to see Nick Senzel and Jonathan India moving more around the infield, and like last time when Moose was on the shelf, more Alex Blandino and Kyle Farmer in the lineup.
All in all though, this just sucks. Joey had really turned it around to start the year, and had shown power that we hadn’t seen from him in years. Thankfully it shouldn’t be a season-ender, but this one just stings a bit more given how important he’s been to the offense so far.
