Debby Santana - 3 for 4, HR, RBI, BB, 2 R

Louisville Bats 5, Toledo Mud Hens 4

Bo “Knows” Takahashi slapped together a decent outing (6 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K). Carson “Little Boy” Fulman and Phillip “Big” Diehl both struck out a batter in their inning of scoreless work from the pen. Nicky “Well Done” Delmonico went 2 for 3 with a RBI, a walk, and a run scored. Dwight “Schrute” Smith walked, knocked in two with a double, and scored, and TJ “Of The Hill” Friedl went 2 for 3 with two RBI.

Chattanooga Lookouts 8, Tennessee Smokies 7

Connor “Lip” Curlis allowed six earned over two innings so we’ll skip him. However, Randy “Run Like The” Wynne (3 IP, 2 K), JC “Pennys” Keys (1 IP, 2 K), Dauri “eehya” Moreta (2 IP, 2 K), and Alexis “Romanov” Diaz (2 IP, 6 K!) all combined for seven innings while giving up only one run allowing the Lookouts to storm back. Alejo “Aloha” Lopez went 2 for 5 with a double, RBI, and a run scored, and TJ “Mary” Hopkins went 2 for 3 with a double, RBI, walk, and a run scored. In all the Lookouts scattered around ten hits and four walks to get those eight runs but no one in particular had a big night.

Dayton Dragons 7, Quad City River Bandits 6

Miguel “Mike” Medrano only walked two and stuck out eight River Bandits but he also gave up four earned runs over his four innings. Jacques “Machu” Pucheu struck out four in 3.1 innings, and Braxton “Ruby” Roxby struck out two in 1.1 innings. Miguel “Derpnandez” Hernandez went 2 for 3 with a stolen base and two RBI. Dayton was largely aided by bad defense from the River Bandits, who had five errors, but they also are a running team. Hurtubise stole his 13th bag of the year, and Quin Cotton swiped two to raise his total to eight.

Daytona Tortugas 9, St. Lucie Mets 4

Jason “Vorhees” Parker was classically mediocre. He surrendered two earned runs over 5.1 innings on three hits, three walks, while striking out four. Jake “The Snake” Gozzo struck out two in a scoreless inning of relief. Debby “Snack Cake” Santana went 3 for 4 with a solo dinger, a walk, and two runs scored. Wendell “Window” Marrero went 3 for 5 with a triple, a RBI, and a run scored, and Tyler “Brake Pads” Callihan continues his torrid start of the year by going 2 for 5 with a double and a solo chuck wagon with two total RBI and runs scored.
