Reds at Nationals, Game 1 - Preview and Lineups

Syndication: The Enquirer Kareem Elgazzar via Imagn Content Services, LLC

The Reds take on the Nationals tonight on the road, coming off their abysmal homestand. Tyler Mahle is the starter for this one, coming off of his worst start of the year. The Reds desperately need a good performance from him tonight if they want any chance of winning this game.

On the other side, maybe it won’t even matter, because Max Scherzer is on the other side. He’s good.

Tylers Naquin, Stephenson, and Barnhart all get starts tonight. Someone not named Tyler will start too, and bat leadoff, which is a thing. Eugenio Suarez, one of the worst hitters in baseball so far this year, is leading off for the Reds. Sure, why not.

The festivities start at 7:05 on your local sports betting channel.
