Opening Day is one week from today and quite frankly, it can’t come soon enough. I’m pretty much over the games that don’t count. The Reds play another one of those today, at Camelback Ranch against the Tony LaRussa led Chicago White Sox.

Carson Fulmer is an interesting arm. As a former Vandy guy, Derek Johnson obviously knows him well. Fulmer parlayed his time at Vanderbilt into being the 8th overall pick back in 2015, but hasn’t done much sense. It’s another interesting reclamation project for the Reds, to go along with today’s starter, Jose De Leon, both of which appeared in upper halves of prospect lists back before the 2016 season.
I miss Joey Votto, I have to say.
Here’s Chicago’s lineup:

Hey look, it’s Billy Hamilton! Neat!
Dylan Cease will get the start for Chicago. He’s yet to allow a run this spring over 6.2 innings pitched.
