World Series Game 1: Braves at Astros (8:09 PM EDT) - Morten vs. Valdez

Gotta admit, I’ve watched 0.00 minutes of baseball since the Reds stopped playing games (and probably a little before that, if I’m being honest), so the prospect of the Atlanta Braves, sans Ronald Acuna, being good enough to be in this game is kinda bewildering to me.

But, alas, the Cobb County Braves travel to the Land of the Banging Can to face off against the Houston Astros.

Are we still feigning outrage over the Astros cheating scandal? I can’t keep up. Whatever, regardless of whether or not I’m supposed to like or dislike them, the Astros have some cool baseball cats and they’re coached by the Legendary Dusty Baker, so that’s who’s got my rooting interest. That’s not to say that there’s anything inherently bad about the players on the Braves (Ozzie Albies in infinitely cool, for example), but... Dusty Baker runs these streets.
