Despite being just over a month from Opening Day, the baseball season has simultaneously passed the midway point and reached the home stretch of the season.

The small sample size of the first half of the season is about to be put to the test. Were the first few weeks of play a fluke, or the sign of each team for 2020? Of course, part of that equation is fan expectations heading into the year.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, the first half of the season could not have gone any worse in the minds of Reds fans.

Along those same lines, not many fans have much confidence in the team going forward. Only 38 percent of fans believe the Reds are headed in the right direction.
