From C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic:
The #Reds have acquired from the Rays RHP Riley O'Brien in exchange for LHP Cody Reed, who on Monday was designated for assignment.

O'Brien, 25, was assigned to the Reds’ 60-man player pool.
O’Brien has impressed since being drafted in the 8th round in 2017 by Tampa out of the College of Idaho. He’s pitched as a starter in the Rays system so far in his career, topping out at AA Montgomery last season.
Cody Reed gets a change of scenery, and he’s someone who could really use it. Coming over in the Johnny Cueto trade, Reed was impressive in the minors here before struggling in his first season in the rotation in 2016. He had some success in 2018 mostly in a bullpen role, but a knee injury kept him out of the majority of his last option year. The Reds designated him for assignment on Monday.
