After a thrilling first game of the Sunday doubleheader between the Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers, we’re about to settle into the second game. That’s just how doubleheaders work, folks.
Trevor Bauer will toe the rubber for the Reds, and with lefty Daniel Norris on the bump for the Tigers (and with Joey Votto and Mike Moustakas out), David Bell has gone with an all-righty lineup to start.
Moose, for the record, was plunked on his left forearm in the first game and exited. No concrete word on his status, other than he’s not in the lineup. Votto, of course, was placed on the Injured List this morning with COVID-like symptoms.
First pitch is set for 5:25 PM ET. The Reds lineup can be found below courtesy of The Athletic’s C. Trent Rosecrans.
Go Reds.
