Thom Brennaman uses homophobic slur during Reds broadcast

This incident happened during the first game of Wednesday night’s doubleheader in Kansas City, during an inning break where Thom didn’t seem to be aware the mic was live. Inexplicably, Thom was allowed to stay on the air past this incident, but was pulled during the second game of the doubleheader, as Jim Day took over play-by-play duties.

Thom apologized for the incident before he was pulled from air.
