The Reds are back at home for a new series against the Phillies.
Anthony DeSclafani gets the ball for the good guys in this one. He’s coming off of a couple of good outings, including 7 shutout innings against his former team in Miami. Drew Smyly gets the ball for Philadelphia. He only lasted 3 innings in his only other start at GABP, which was in 2012.
With Suarez and VanMeter banged up, Kyle Farmer takes over at the hot corner and the freshly called-up Alex Blandino gets a start at 2nd base.
First pitch today is at the very weird 2:10 ET.
