Dayton managed to score only 1 run despite collecting 9 hits in a 5-1 loss last night. Jhon
O-H De Jesus started and went 4 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits with 3 walks and strikeouts apiece. Part of the reason Dayton only scored once is that all 9 of their hits were singles. That and they struck out 13 times. Woof. Claudio Finol, Brian Rey, and Miguel Hernandez each went 2 for 4 on the night. That’s about it.
Dayton plays tonight at 7:05 PM EDT.
