Cincinnati Reds
Here’s a good dog.

The Brandon Larson Honorary Star of the Night

Gavin LaValley - 3 for 5, HR, 3 RBI.

Louisville Bats 1, Columbus Clippers 9

Keury “Mehlla” Mella started for Louisville on Thursday and was pretty bad. He allowed five runs on eight hits with a walk and a strikeout each over five innings. The offense wasn’t very good either. Nick “Hit Ball” Longhi went 1 for 3 with a solo dinger and a walk and Narciso “Narco” Crook hit a double. Carlos Carrasco pitched in this game, which is a good thing.

Jesus Reyes starts tonight at 7:05 PM EDT.

Chattanooga Lookouts 7, Mississippi Braves 6

Chattanooga had a wild one last night. They scored four in the 9th inning to take a three run lead, only to allow three in the bottom of the inning to force extras. They scored a run in the 10th to win the game though so it worked out. Brad Markey “Mark” started and pitched well, giving up three runs on four hits over six innings of work while walking none and striking out eight. The offense had 18 hits on the night. Alberti Chavez went 4 for 4 with a double and a RBI. Jonathan “BaseBollywood” India went 3 for 5, scoring twice and driving in a run and Gavin LaValley went 3 for 5 with a three run tank.

Packy Naughton takes the mound tonight at 7:35 PM EDT.

Daytona Tortugas 0, St. Lucie Mets 3

Austin “1984” Orewiler started last night and allowed three runs on five hits with three walks and three strikeouts in five innings of work. John Ghyzel pitched the rest of the game without allowing a run. Lorenzo Cedrola went 2 for 4 and that was pretty much it from the offense. This was also the last game for Daytona, who had their final two games cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian. They narrowly missed a .500 record, finishing at 66-68 on the season.

Dayton Dragons 3, Great Lakes Loons 5

“Yo” Adrian Rodriguez pitched for Dayton last night and allowed three runs on six hits with no walks and five strikeouts over five innings of work. Moises “Piss hands” Nova struck out three in two scoreless innings. Mariel “Mary Bats” Bautista went 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored and Jay Schuyler “Sisters” went 1 for 4 with 2 RBI.

Randy Winne starts tonight at 7:00 PM EDT.
