Tejay “Tee Hee” Antone pitched an amazing game. Antone pitched seven shutout innings on five hits, one walk, while striking out nine. “Slippery” Sal Romano struck out one in a shutout eighth. Narciso “I’m Not A” Crook went 3 for 4 with a double, RBI, walk, and a run scored. Brian “Beef” O’Grady went 2 for 5 with two stolen bases and a run scored. Ryan Lavarnway walked thrice.
The Chattanooga Lookouts cancelled their game with the Montgomery Biscuits cancelled due to what was just called a “tragic event”. When things are worded like that it’s never good. Later, it was announced that Biscuits pitcher Blake Bivens’s wife and child were murdered. Obviously, when these kinds of things happen it makes baseball seem real small. Aaron “Fuzzy” Fossas took the start and wasn’t good at all. Fossas gave up five earned runs over five innings on nine hits, two walks, while striking out none. Julio “Tiny” Pinto struck out two in two scoreless and “Finding” Dauri Moreta did the same. Hendrik “The Mighty” Clementina went 4 for 4 with a solo dinger, a double, and two RBI total. Drew “High” Mount went 2 for 3 with two doubles, two RBI, and a run scored.
Dayton Dragons 3, Lake County Captains 5
Eduardo Salazar gave up an earned run over 3.2 innings on four hits, two walks, while striking out three. Matt Lloyd solo danged a dong. Claudio Finol “Countdown” went 2 for 4 with a RBI. Everything else was real lackluster.

Justin “Punch Drunk” McGregor pitched a perfectly fine game. McGregor, gave up one earned run over five innings on six hits, no walks, while striking out six. Ian “Diet” Koch struck out three in three scoreless innings. Leonardo “Da Vinci” Seminati snacked a solo tater. Jame “Flippin” Free went 2 for 5 with a double, and Quincy “Popup” McAfee went 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored.

Spencer “Short Shorts” Stockton gave up three earned runs over six innings on five hits, no walks, while striking out ten. Johnatan “Captain” Tripp struck out four in two innings of relief. Fidel “Commie” Castro went 2 for 3 with a solo dinger.
