Daytona allowed an unearned run in the top of the 9th to fall 3-2 on Monday night. “Return of the” Mac Sceroler pitched and did pretty well. He went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs on 7 hits while walking 1 and striking out 4. Jose Garcia went 2 for 4 with a double and 1 RBI and Alejo Lopez also collected 2 hits, going 2 for 3 with a RBI and a run scored.

Dayton Dragons 3, Lansing Lugnuts 4
Dayton tried to mount a 9th inning comeback but it came up short in a 4-3 loss last night. Jhon De Jesus got the start and was not helped out by his defense. He allowed 3 runs, only 1 earned, on 5 hits with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts over 5 innings of work. “Ed, Edd, and” Eddy Demurias struck out 3 in 2 scoreless innings out of the bullpen. Jay Schuyler “Sisters” went 1 for 4 with a solo dinger, Cameron Warren went 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored, and Morgon Lofstrom went 1 for 1 with a 2-run double in the 9th.

Billings Mustangs 6, Grand Junction Rockies 0
Finally, a win. Miguel Medrano continued his great season in Billings with a shutout last night. He threw 6 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. He has a 2.55 ERA on the season. Not bad. Ryan “Jackass” Dunne threw 2 shutout innings and got the win. TJ Hopkins went 2 for 5 and drove in 2 runs while Eric Yang went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI. Reyny Reyes also drove in a pair, going 1 for 2 with a double while also walking twice.

Greeneville Reds 4, Burlington Royals 3
Greeneville scored twice in the bottom of the 11th to win 4-3 on Monday. Jose Salvador got the start and was impressive. He pitched 4.2 innings, allowing only 1 run on 4 hits while walking none and striking out 11. Alberto Gonzalez struck out 3 in 2.1 scoreless innings. Greeneville hit 3 triples on the night, which is fun. Danny Lantigua went 1 for 3 with a triple and 2 RBI. Tyler “Brake Pads” Callihan went 2 for 5 with a triple, and Garrett “Go Forth” Wolforth also went 2 for 5 with a triple while driving in a run and scoring twice.
