Sonny Gray gets the ball for Cincinnati today, coming off of 7 one-run innings in Colorado. He’ll face Yu Darvish, who faced the Reds with mixed results earlier in the season.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that the Reds absolutely need to win this game. Losing puts them 7.5 games back in the division, just in time for a 4-game set against the Cardinals. If they lose today, the heel turn into seller mode may be complete.
