Good afternoon!
I’ll be honest. No one on our staff stayed up and watched the game last night. The Reds won, though! Philip Ervin had 6 hits! I watched some highlights this morning, and it looked like a really exciting game!
Anyway, I’m here for today’s game, the rubber match of the series. The Reds will take the field again today, around 12 hours after last night’s game ended. Tyler Mahle gets the ball today, coming off of another quick hook in his last start. The bullpen could use a lighter day today.
Antonio Senzatela gets the ball for the Rox.
Ervin gets another start after his big night last night, and Puig, Votto, and Casali all get a day off today for Cincinnati. Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackmon are absent for Colorado.
Go Reds!
