Farmers Only: Tony Santillan Has A Boo Boo

I think, but we hope not.

Louisville Bats 2, Toledo Mud Hens 3

Hey, Keury “Hella” Mella looked pretty passable, which isn’t something we’ve said in a while. He gave up two earned runs, three total, over 6.1 IP on five hits, one walk, and seven strikeouts. Brad “Sharpie” Markey struck out three in 1.2 nifty innings. Nick “Bongrip” Longhi bashed a tater, Alex “The Great” Blandino went 1 for 4 with a walk, and Aristides Aquino did the same.

Chattanooga Lookouts 2, Biloxi Shuckers 6

Tony “Santigold” Santillan was pumping in some real good shit last night. He pitched three innings of shutout ball while giving up two hits, one walk, and striking out four. But... cause there has to be a but... he also left the game with an apparent injury. So, that really fucking sucks. Jesse Stallings pitched a clean innings, and Ryan “Busta” Nutof did as well. Calten “Dance” Daal went 2 for 4 with a RBI.

Daytona didn’t play because of rain, which is good for me because it means I get to write less.

Dayton Dragons 0, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 1

Jhon “Jay Hon” De Jesus gave up an earned run over six innings on five hits, no walks, while striking out three. Clate “Clete” Schmidt struck out five in three innings of relief. Jay “Bird” Schuyler went 3 for 3 with a walk, and Miguel Hernandez went 2 for 4. The Dragons scattered eight hits and couldn’t pick up one run. Sad.

Billings Mustangs 6, Rocky Mountain Vibe 1

This game isn’t over right now as I’m writing this, but it’s the bottom of the 9th so I’m going to write it as if it is. If the score massively changes, I’ll guess you’ll have to adjust. I’m sure you’ll get over it. Carlos Carreno gave up one earned run over six innings of baseballs on three hits, one walk, while striking out six. Frainger “Forrest Ranger” Aranguren pitched two innings of scoreless stuff, and I’m gonna guess this guy named Dunne closes it out but he’s already walked a guy. Reyny “Pours” Reyes went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI.

Greeneville Reds 6, Danville Braves 5

Orlando Noriega pitched five shutout innings on one hit, two walks, while striking out three. The bullpen was real bad. AJ “Bump Bump Pass” Bumpass knocked a two run dinger and walked. Danny Lantigua knocked in two with a triple and scored twice.
