Chattanooga was doing well until the 8th, where they allowed 8 runs in a 7-5 loss. Scott Moss got the start and allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts over 6 innings of work. Mitch “The horse says” Nay had quite the day at the plate, going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, a solo dinger, and 2 RBI. Ibandel “Dinger” Isabel went 2 for 4 with a 2-run homer. Brantley “Ring my” Bell added a solo homer.

Connor Curlis had a solid debut for Daytona, throwing 5.1 innings and allowing no runs on 7 hits with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. He might also be Brandon Finnegan. Michael “Feel the” Byrne retired all 5 batters he faced and struck out 1 in 1.2 innings of relief. Shard Munroe hit a 2-run dinger and Stuart “Little” Fairchild went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.
