Reds at Phillies, Game 2 - Preview and Lineups

The Reds face off against the Fightin’ Jay Bruces this afternoon after a lackluster loss last night. Tanner Roark gets the ball for the Reds, facing off against a former division rival that he’s faced 22 times over his career. Results haven’t always gone his way in this ballpark, though, and he owns a 5.30 career ERA at Citizens Bank.

He’ll face Nick Pivetta, who after starting the season in the big league rotation, is making his third start back from a minor league stint. Something appears to have worked, though, as he threw 6 shutout innings without walking anybody and striking out nine in his last start in Los Angeles.

First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 PM ET.
