Lucas “Films” Sims must have had a major league hangover cause he wasn’t great in this one. Sims allowed five earned runs over 5.1 innings on six hits, two walks, while striking out only two. “As Sure As” Jesus “Wore Sandals” Reyes pitched 1.2 scoreless innings of relief with two strikeouts, and “Slippery” Sal Romano took the hard luck loss by giving up an unearned run in the 10th with two strikeouts. Phil “Phlervin” Ervin went 2 for 5 with a RBI and a run scored, and Rob “Big Bob” Refsnyder went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBI. Christian “Butt” Colon knocked a solo dinger.

Louisville will try their luck again at 7:00 PM ET.

Tejay “Teehee” Antone continues his AA dominance. He pitched eight shutout innings on only a single hit, three walks, while striking out seven. Mitch “Bae” Nay went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. Alfredo “Little Pasta” Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with a run scored, and TJ “Of The Hill” Friedl went 2 for 4 with a run scored as well.

Reiver Sanmartin got some bad luck it looks like based on his stat line. He allowed four earned over four innings on six hits, two walks, while striking out seven. The bullpen was all kinds of bad. Yon “Jovi” Mendoza knocked in two and Mark Kolozsvary singled, knocked in a run and walked twice.
