Farmers Only: Taylor Trammell Hits And Stuff

But, who boy, did the minor league teams really lose out in the luck department.

Brandon Larson Honorary Star Of The Night

Taylor Trammell - 3 for 4, 2B, RBI, BB

The Bats had the night off. They’ll pick up play at 7:00 PM ET.

Chattanooga Lookouts 1, Tennessee Smokies 4

Tony “The Tiger” Santillan didn’t have the good stuff Monday night. Santillan gave up four earned runs over 4.2 innings on nine hits, two walks, while striking out one. Ty “Puffy” Boyles struck out one in a scoreless inning, and Wyatt “Earp” Strahan pitched two clean innings of relief. The Lookouts had eleven hits and five walks while only pushing one run against the board. That’s twenty runners left on base which is almost a hilarious level of bad luck. Taylor Trammell led the charge by going 3 for 4 with a double, RBI, and a walk. Alfredo “Little Pasta” Rodriguez, Jose Siri, and Brantley “Dong” Bell all had two hits. Rodriguez actually hit a double which is kind of nice.

Johendi Jiminian will be on the mound at 7:00 PM ET.

Daytona Tortugas 4, Lakeland Flying Tigers 3 (F/10)

Ryan Lillie put together a respectable start (6 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 3 K) and the bullpen held down the rest. Michael “Crotch” Byrne struck out two in an inning of relief, Aneurys Zabala struck out one in 1.1, and Ryan “Busta” Nutof nailed down the win by pitching the final 1.1 innings of perfect clean ball. Daytona did their best to make Chattanooga feel better by leaving 23 men on base. Soooo there were a lot of hits. I’d suggest taking a peak at the box score for the full scoop. Alejo “Aloha” Lopez went 2 for 5 with a double and a RBI, and Lorenzo Cedrola doubled on a 2 for 4 night.

Wennington Romero will be on the mound at 6:30 PM ET.

Dayton Dragons 3, Fort Wayne TinCaps 2

Jared “Salamander” Solomon struck out three batters in two scoreless innings before giving the game to the bullpen. Moises “Super” Nova struck out five in two innings of scoreless relief. Mike “The Future” Siani went 2 for 4 with a RBI, Randy “Are You?” Ventura went 2 for 3 with a run scored, and Pabel Manzanero knocked in two runs with a double.

Jhon De Jesus will pitch at 7:00 PM ET.
