Boy is that Lucas “Films” Sims guy really rolling so far. He’s lowering his ERA from a crazy bad start. He allowed a lone earned run over seven innings on three hits, two walks, and seven strikeouts. “Slippery” Sal Romano struck out one in a scoreless innings and so did Anthony “Lance” Bass. Phil “Phlervin” Ervin went 2 for 3 with a RBI and a run scored, and so did Rob “Ump” Refsnyder.
The Bats play at 11:00 AM.
Jordan “Jimmy” Johnson took the start and was bad. He gave up three earned runs over four innings on four hits, four walks, and four strikeouts. Ty “Poppin’” Boyles struck out two in two scoreless and Alex “Light Tower Powers” struck out the side in the ninth to pick up his sixth save. Mitch “Horse” Nay went 2 for 4 with a solo dinger, double, and four RBI total. Taylor Trammell went 2 for 3 with a walk and two runs scored, Jose Siri knocked two singles, and Ibandel “Princess” Isabel went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI and a run scored.

Reiver “My Liver” Sanmartin sliced up some eye balls last evening. He allowed two earned runs over five innings on seven hits, one walk, while striking out seven. John “Spooks” Ghyzel struck out two in a scoreless inning. Hendrik “My” Clementina went 2 for 3 with a double, RBI, and a walk. Andy “Sluglord” Sugilio went 2 for 4.
Daytona plays at 7:05 PM ET.
For the few innings that he pitched Jared “Temple Of” Solomon was freaking awesome. He gave up an earned run over 4.2 innings on three hits, no walks, while striking out seven. Matt “Cabage” Pidich pitched a scoreless inning of relief. Mariel Bautista went 2 for 4 and the rest was suck.
