Scott Moss - 6 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 9 K

Louisville Bats 3, Durham Bulls 18

Gah. The Bats sure did miss Lucas Sims right? Jose “Porky” Lopez gave up seven earned runs over five innings on eight hits, four walks, while striking out five. No one in the bullpen pitched well enough to note unless you’re a masochist. Sherman “Tank” Johnson went 2 for 2 with a walk.

Rob Wooten looks to improve on his last start at 7:05 PM ET.

Chattanooga Lookouts 4, Jackson Generals 1

Scott “Y Doesn’t Know” Moss was brilliant. He pitched six shutout innings on two hits, two walks, while striking out nine. Ty “Inflamed” Boyles struck out one in a scoreless inning, and Joel “Slyde” Kuhnel pitched 1.1 scoreless innings to pick up his seventh save of the season. Ibandel “Pretty” Isabel knocked his 14th dinger of the year which was a 2-run shot. Calten “AA” Daal went 2 for 4 with a RBI, Jose Siri went 2 for 4 with a double, and TJ “Of The Hill” Friedl went 2 for 4.

Johenidi Jiminian is on the mound at 1:05 pm ET.

Mac “Attack” Sceroler gave up two earned runs over 4.2 innings on five hits, two walks, while striking out five. Clate “Clete” Schmidt (1 IP, 1 K), Julio Pinto “Bean” (2 IP, 4 K), and Ryan “Busta” Nutof (1 IP, 1 K). Jonathan “Bollywood” India yonked a wanger on a 3 for 5 night with two total RBI. Reiver Sanmartin starts at 6:30 PM ET.

Dayton Dragons 8, Lansing Lugnuts 1

Connor Curlis put the Dragons in a good spot with his start. He gave up only a solo dinger over five innings on five hits, no walks, while striking out three. Alexis Diaz struck out two over three scoreless innings of relief, and Jerry D’Andrea struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning. The Dragons hit FOUR dingers to win this one. Pabel “Pepper” Manzanero knocked a two-run shot, Juan Martinez did the same while going 2 for 4 with a double, Brian “Cray” Rey’s was only a solo jack but also went 2 for 4, and Reniel “Kidney” Ozuna knocked in two with his blast while going 2 for 4 with a walk. Other people did other other good things but this is enough writing.

Andy Salinas is on the mound at 7:05 PM ET.
