Reds at Cardinals Game Three - Preview, Lineups, Stirrups, Cute Pups, Lit Mups

Sonny Gray is a great name, isn’t it? Not just a good baseball name, but like the protagonist of a great American novel good name.

The Reds destroyed the Cards on Friday and Marcel Ozuna destroyed the Reds yesterday, so hopefully we just have a nice game of baseball today without any destruction.

Sonny Gray will scale the sandhill today for the Redlegs. He has been really good, by the way. He has made five starts so far and has struck out five batters for every walk. If the next three years are anything like this last month, it will be really good. I don’t know about you, but I think it is really good when things are really good.

Jack Flaherty is one of those Guys, man. The Toiletbirds always have like 20 of them on the roster. He’s not like an all-time great or anything (none of them ever are) but he is a good baseball player. He’s exactly the kind of guy the Reds haven’t had in the last 30 years. And the Cardinals always have 20 of him.

First pitch is 2:15 because of the nerdlingers in the Central timezone. So I guess at least you’ll get an extra hour before the game starts to get home from church or sleep off all the drugs and alcohols you smoked last night, depending on the status of your immortal soul.
