Louisville was not able to capitalize on an early lead in a rain-shortened game on Wednesday. Jose Lopez pitched and went all 5 innings, giving up 4 runs on 6 hits with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. Nick “Senzinnati” Senzel and Josh “Feed The” VanMeter each went 1 for 3 with a double with Senzel scoring a run. Rob Refsnyder went 1 for 2 and also scored a run.

Chattanooga Lookouts 4, Tennessee Smokies 3
A late surge helped Chattanooga pull out a 4-3 win last night. Tony “Santigold” Santillan got the start and wasn’t great. He went 4.1 innings and gave up 3 runs on 8 hits while walking 1 and striking out 5. Alex “Danger” Powers struck out 2 in 2 scoreless innings. Ibandel “Dinger” Isabel did what he does and went 1 for 4 with a 2-run blast. Taylor Trammell went 1 for 3 with a run scored and Gavin “As I walk through” LaValley went 1 for 3 with a double and scored a run.

Daytona Tortugas 6, Dunedin Blue Jays 5
Daytona scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 10th to walk it off in a 6-5 victory last night. Michael “Feel The” Byrne started and pitched pretty well, going 5 innings and allowing 1 run on 4 hits with no walks and 4 strikeouts. Hendrik “Oh, My Darling” Clementina went 3 for 4 with a 2-run dinger and Jonathan “Bollywood” India also hit a 2-run blast. Miles “Flash” Gordon went 2 for 4 on the night.

Dayton Dragons 6, Lake County Captains 7
Dayton pulled the anti-Daytona last night, giving up 2 runs in the bottom of the 10th to lose 7-6. Lyon “Lannister” Richardson started and went 4.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Andy Cox struck out 3 in his inning of work, but gave up an unearned run that sent it to extras. Jay Schuyler “Sisters” went 3 for 5 and drove in 2 runs. Miguel Hernandez went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and a RBI and Juan Martinez went 2 for 3 and drove in a run.
