Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB! Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged-in fans from each team! Reds fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse!

Hey there, plugged-in Reds fans! We are all one week closer to our inevitable terminus on this cold and forbidding earth! Countless thousands of already-forgotten people have passed from this world due to famine, war, poverty, and indifference since we last asked you, the plugged-in Reds fan, how you felt about the Cincinnati Reds!

THINGS ARE SO MUCH WORSE! Only 54% of plugged-in Reds fans are confident in the direction of the team. Even a three-game sweep of the Marlins (by an amazing +20 run diff) can do nothing to turn our abject hopelessness around. And how!

There is, however, a nice coda to this requiem aeternam deo. 69% of plugged-in Reds fans approve of the job that manager David Bell is doing. He should get tossed out of games for carping at the umpires more often!
