Spring Training Game Thirteen: Mariners at Reds

Castillo looks to rebound

MLB: Cincinnati Reds at Miami Marlins Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

The Reds, fresh off a win against the Padres, shoutout to Scott Schebler and his 4 RBI day, will look to keep the good times rolling against Yusei Kikuchi and the Seattle Mariners. Cincinnati will counter with Luis Castillo. Castillo was hit hard in his spring debut against the Angels surrendering five earned runs in 1.2 innings of work.

First pitch is at 8:05 ET. Good news, it’s 2019 and you can actually watch this one on television! Catch all the action on Fox Sports Ohio or MLB TV.

As C. Trent Rosecrans notes, Curt Casali is making his spring debut tonight. He had offseason surgery to repair the labrum in his left hip. Check out Gary Schatz’s article in the Dayton Daily News for a refresher on Casli’s acquisition and 2018 season with the Reds.

You’ll also get to see Nick Senzel out in CF, which should be enough to get you in front of your TV set tonight.

Here is how the lineup looks:

Spend a little time prior to tonight’s game debating what you think about the Louisville Bats playing as the “Derby City Mint Juleps” for two games this season.

Those jerseys are nice, but we can all agree that mint juleps are gross.
