Fresh off a rest day, the Cincinnati Reds will take in a game under the lights in Goodyear, as they’ll host the San Diego Padres in Cactus League play.
Remember earlier in the spring when it was referenced that there were ample night games on this schedule that could potentially help Nick Senzel get used to fielding fly balls under the lights? Well, it turns out he’s not going to get that chance tonight, as apparently he’s been dealing with a bit of a tight hamstring according to manager David Bell. That said, it seems it’s just a very minor thing and that he could well be back in the lineup tomorrow, as MLB.com’s Mark Sheldon relayed.

Nerbs. Have to think that if this were a big spot in the regular season, we might well see him playing through it. It’s spring training, though, so there’s obviously no need to risk it.
The Athletic’s C. Trent Rosecrans was kind enough to spell out tonight’s team sheet and travel roster in nice, embeddable format. It includes Anthony DeSclafani as the starter as well as a lineup full of many, many regulars - the inimitable Joey Votto included. First pitch is set for 9:05 PM ET, but unfortunately there’s no TV feed for this one.

Go Reds. They are George Foster’s favorite team!
That one time the @redreporter crew got George Foster to sign "Go #Reds, they're my favorite team!" in AZ. #RRSB2K12 pic.twitter.com/7UDrut6io9
