The Cincinnati Reds take the field for the final fake time this spring on Tuesday afternoon in Atlanta, taking on the Braves in the second exhibition game of this series. Last night, they were thumped early en route to an 8-5 loss, with Tanner Roark struggling against the strike zone and the rain in his first rough outing since joining the team.
Today, Anthony DeSclafani will toe the rubber for the Reds, and he’ll do so with a rather unusual cast of defenders behind him. The Reds appear to be rolling out a bench-laden lineup today, one that includes Kyle Farmer at shortstop and Jesse Winker in centerfield.
One more hour and I'll be home
