The Reds will take the field in St. Louis once again on Saturday, hoping to defeat the Cardinals for the first time in their history. It seems that way, at least. I know the Reds have defeated St. Louis at some point in their history. Hell, the law of averages says they probably have even won a game against the Cardinals this season! It just doesn’t feel that way. Hopefully the Reds can bounce back from their 12-5 loss on Friday.
Luis Castillo will hope to recover from his last start, where he gave up 5 earned runs against the Cubs in his worst start of the second half. He will face off against Daniel Poncedeleon, who threw 7 no-hit innings against the Reds in his debut back on July 23.
Go Reds. You’re our favorite team.
