Somehow, the 2018 Cincinnati Reds season has motored all the way through some 125 games, and that means one thing was inevitably coming soon - the release of the 2019 schedule, which dropped on Wednesday morning.
The Reds posted the entire slate of games earlier today, which will feature a March 28th Opening Day against their NL Central rival Pittsburgh Pirates.
Here is your 2019 #Reds schedule. You may now plan your lives accordingly.

Other highlights included the NL Central’s 2019 matchups with the AL West, which means that Mike Trout, Zack Cozart, and the Los Angeles Angels will be in GABP on August 5th and 6th. Other features included a homestand featuring back to back series against the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros, as well as a lengthy, largely west-coast 9-game road trip in the middle of September, which might actually have some serious significance if the 2019 Reds, y’know, are actually decent for the first time in forever.
There’s a large homestand featuring the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, and Cleveland Indians that covers July 4th and sends the Reds into the All Star break, and a second-half opening series in Denver against the Colorado Rockies that’s of particular interest to this particular writer, too.
Get your popcorn ready.
