He ended up giving up 5 runs total on 5 hits, 1 walk, while striking out 7. Brandon Finnegan did the unthinkable and struck out the side in an inning of relief, and Jackson “Mississippi” Stephens pitched a perfect 9th inning. Hernan “The Barbarian” Iribarren went 3 for 4, DJ Peterson went 2 for 4, and Josh “Maneater” VanMeter went 2 for 4 with a double, RBI, and a run scored.

Tony “The Tiger” Santillan also gave up two dingers but pitched a pretty good game otherwise. He gave up only those 2 earned runs over 7 innings on 4 hits, 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts. Alex “Light Tower” Powers struck out 2 in a scoreless inning. Gavin “Deep In” LaValley knocked in the lone run on a solo homer.

Scotty “Doesn’t Know” Moss threw a fantastic game. 5 innings and only 1 earned run (2 total) on 7 hits, 2 walks, 10 strikeouts. Michael Byrnes “Deep” struck out 2 in 2 innings, Carlos Diaz struck out 2 in an inning, and Ryan “Jimi” Hendrix struck out 1 in a scoreless inning. Alfredo “Little Pasta” Rodriguez went 2 for 3 with a double, RBI, walk, and a run scored. Tyler Stephenson went 1 for 2 with a RBI and two walks.
