The ‘Hoos got a pretty good start from Vlad “Go Titties” Gutierrez who gave up 2 earned runs over 5 innings on 3 hits, 2 walks, and 8 strikeouts. The bullpen couldn’t hold the lead though. Mitch “Hay” Nay walked and went 2 for 4 with a run scored, and Gavin LaValley knocked in a run while going 2 for 4 with a walk and a run scored. Shed Long wet 2 for 4.

Tony Santillan will be on the mound at 10:35 AM CT. That’s one hell of a start time.

Daytona also had the night off. They’ll play at 7:05 PM ET.

Patrick “O’Hoolihan” McGuff gave up 5 earned runs over 6 innings (7 H, 2 BB, 5 K). “Finding” Dauri Moreta struck out 6 in 3 innings while giving up a lone hit in relief. Reshard “James” Munroe knocked a 2-run dinger and walked while Andy “Mafia” Sugilio went 2 for 4.

“Ricky” Ricardo Smith gave up 4 earned runs over 6 innings (5 H, 2 BB, 3 K). Connor “Custer” Curlis struck out 3 in a scoreless inning of relief. Pabel “Chuck” Manzanero went 2 for 4 with a 2-run homer and 3 RBI total, Drew “Bob Ross” Mount went 2 or 4 with a RBI and a run scored, and Carlos Rivero went 3 for 4 with a run scored.

Greeneville Reds 12, Kingsport Mets 9

Daniel De “Lewis” La Fuente gave up 2 earned runs (7 total) over 5 innings on 3 hits, 4 walks, and 2 strikeouts. Jerry D’Andrea struck out 1 and Connor Bennett both pitched scoreless innings relief. Greeneville came roaring back from the late deficit with 7 runs in the 8th inning. Brian “Say Hey” Rey went 2 for 5 with a solo dinger, and Raul Juarez went 2 for 3 with a 2-run wanger and 4 RBI total. Michael Hernandez went 3 for 5 with a RBI and 2 runs scored, and Jose “Hello” Tello went 2 for 3 with a RBI and a walk.
