Josh “Maneater” VanMeter went 3 for 4 with a homer of his own. The rest of the offense was just a bunch of scattered stuff, but Tim “Fedex” Federowicz walked and doubled.

Seth “Vanish” Varner gave up 3 earned runs over 7 innings on 8 hits, no walk, while striking out 3. Alex “Light Tower” Powers struck out 1 in a scoreless inning of relief. Taylor “Eagle” Featherston knocked a 2-run dong and went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk. Aristides “Heiress Titties” Aquino went 3 for 4 with a walk, Shed “To Bed” Long went 2 for 4 with a triple, 3 RBI, and a walk, and Mitch “Bray” Nay went 2 for 4 with a walk and a run scored.

Wennington “Baddington” Romero got beat up to the tune of 7 earned runs in 5 innings (10 H, 2 BB, 2 K). Gross. Michael “Slow” Byrne, Ty “Popping Boyles (1 K), and Ryan “Jimi” Hendrix (1 K) all pitched a scoreless inning out of the pen. Ibandel “Home Run King” Isabel did his thing. He went 2 for 4 and hit his 30th home run of the year. It’s also like his 6th in a week’s time.

Mac “N Cheese” Sceroler got trounced as well. He gave up 7 earned runs over 4 innings (8 H, 4 BB, 4 K). Cory Thompson pitched 3 shutout innings of relief with 2 strikeouts, and Aneury Zabala pitched a perfect 8th inning. Hendrik “The Mighty” Clementina (2-run shot), Raul “Rusty” Wallace (2-run), and Jose “Gary” Garcia (solo) all hit dingers while the rest of the offense sputtered. Williams also walked twice.
