Romano vs Kluber

MLB: Cleveland Indians at Cincinnati Reds David Kohl-USA TODAY Sports

The Ohio Cup is split even at 2-2, so tonight’s tilt and tomorrow’s tussle will determine the outcome. It won’t be easy.

It might surprise you, but Mustang Sally has pitched like a legitimate big-league rotation leader for a good while now. At the beginning of June, his ERA was over 6.00 and it seemed that a demotion to Louisville was forthcoming. But since then, check it out: he has made nine starts and two relief appearances, amassing 57 innings with an ERA of 3.47. That would play in even the best of rotations in baseball.

Speaking of, the Indians have Corey Kluber throwing this evening. He is one of the best in baseball, as you know, but you may not be aware that my beloved Joey Votto is 7-for-8 against him with a walk. #WeLoveJoeyVotto
