Blergh. Cody Reed was supposed to get the start, but he was called up. “General” Jackson Stephens did take the start and pitched 2 perfect innings with 3 strikeouts. The only other pitcher not to shit to bed was Kyle “KYLE!” Crockett who struck out 3 in 1.2 scoreless. The Bats were 1 hit by Top 50 prospect Kyle Wright.

Tyler Mahle takes the mound at 7:05 PM ET as he looks to turn his season around.

Pensacola had the night off. They’ll face off against Jacksonville at 6:35 PM CT.

Datona Tortugas 3, Lakeland Flying Tigers 10

Tejay “BeJay” Antone was not a good pitcher. He allowed 5 earned over 5 innings (10 H, 2 BB, 3 K). Aaron Fossas “Your Teef” struck out 3 in 2 scoreless. Courtney “Bird of Prey” Hawkins went 2 for 4 with a RBI, and Michel Beltre went 2 for 3 with a walk.

Austin “Animal Farm” Orewiler was amazing. He pitched 6 shutout innings on 4 hits, 1 walk, while striking out 7. “Finding” Dauri Moreta struck out 1 in a scoreless inning. Mark “YOLO” Kolozsvary went 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 RBI.

Billings Mustangs 0, Idaho Falls Chukars 3

Adrian “Rocky’s Anchor” Rodriguez pitched well. He gave up 1 earned run over 6 innings on 4 hits, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts. “Fast” Eddie Escoboza struck out 4 in three innings while allowing only 1 unearned run. Mariel Bautista went 2 for 4 with a triple.

Greeneville Reds 1, Elizabethton Twins 4

Alexis Diaz pitched well. He struck out 6 in 6 innings while allowing 2 earned, 5 hits, and a walk. Josh Rich struck out 1 in a scoreless inning of relief. Reniel “Kidney” Ozuna went 2 for 4 with a double, Miguel Hernandez went 3 for 4 with a run scored, and Robert “Bone Sale” Boselli singled and walked.
