Brandon Larson Honorary Star Of The Weekend
Jonathon India - 3 for 9, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 4 BB, 3 K, 2 R, 1 SB
Could have I have picked a better weekend? Yeah. Did I want to? No. Pretty much because I wanted to show off some numbers so far from India. Fangraphs wouldn’t have it updated that he’s drafted by the Reds and actually plays for the Astros, but he’s been on fire after a slow start at the plate. India is walking 24.2% of the time against a K rate of 19.4% His BABIP is kind of low at .290 but his ISO percent is .283. That gives his a slash line of .261/.452/.543. Not to mention a wRC+ of 161. There isn’t much more for him to prove in Greeneville. I’d like to see him skip Billings and get some time in Dayton for the last month.
Friday
