Louisville Bats 12, Rochester Redwings 5

Robert Stephenson was pretty good again. He went 7 full, allowing 6 hits and only 2 earned runs, with 2 BB and 5 K. His AAA ERA is now down to 3.29. Wandy Peralta struck out the side, and Zack “Twice as” Weiss, well, he pitched. Yep he sure did. 1 IP, 2 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 1 K, 1 HR.

Brandon “Big” Dixon “Energy” fueled a big night for the Bats, hitting for the cycle. Phil “Phlervin” Ervin continued to swing a hot bat, hitting twice and walking once, while Gabby Guerrero knocked in 4 RBI. DJ Peterson honked a wanger.

Up Next: Home Dawg Bailey will make his next LOU start. Goooood. This is fine. First pitch is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:05 PM EDT. Tune in, there’s basically nothing else on tonight.

Daytona Tortugas 1, Clearwater Thrashers 5

Rookie “Of The Year” Davis made his 2nd rehab start and, well, you know. He’s throwing pitches! He gave up 5 hits and 4 earned runs over 5 IP, walking only 1 and striking out 3. Ty “Poppin’” Boyles struck out 1 in 1 inning. Carlos “Those Were The” Diaz did, too. Joel “Bender” Kuhnel allowed a hit, but otherwise, did too!

For the offense, Taylor Trammell continued his hitting, smacking 2 singles, while Randy “Ace” Ventura smacked a double. Still, the Turtles scored 1 run and lost.

Up Next: TBD takes the mound and will throw a no hitter. First pitch is at 7:00 PM EDT.
