I really couldn’t pick between the two of them, and I’m sure you can understand why. They both had stellar games, and have been pretty reliable so far this season even if they have had a few real bad starts sprinkled in there. It’s cool to see good pitching. I like it.

Louisville is on their All Star break they’ll be back in action on Thursday.

Pensacola Blue Wahoos 2, Mobile BayBears 8

Daniel “Didn’t Do” Wright was bad. He allowed 5 earned runs over 4 innings on 7 hits, 1 walk, while striking out 4. Juan Martinez gave up an earned run over 3 innings while striking out 1. TJ “Of The Hill” Friedl went 1 for 3 with a walk and a stolen base, and Jose “Shut up” Siri went 2 for 4 with a triple.

Pensacola will play at 6:35 PM CT.

Daytona Tortugas 1, Florida Fire Frogs 3 (F/9)

Tejay “Wejay” Antone was fantastic. He struck out 7 in 7 perfect innings. If the Tortugas had been able to put any points on the board early it would have been a perfect game due to the double header. Taylor “All Star” Trammell went 2 for 4 with a run scored, and Randy “Ace” Ventura doubled and walked.

Daytona Tortugas 1, Florida Fire Frogs 2 (F/8)

Kevin “Cannon” Canelon took the start in a reliever game. He allowed 1 earned run in 2 innings on 2 strikeouts. Aaron Fossas “Your Teeth” struck out 1, Ty “Poppin” Boyles 2, and Brian Hunter 3 while all pitching 2 innings and not giving up any earned runs. Ibandel “Princess” Isabel singled in the lone run, and Randy “Marsh” Ventura went 2 for 3.

Daytona play at 7:05 PM ET.

Dayton Dragons 5, Great Lake Loons 0

Packy “Sacky” Naughton got way wacky in this game. He struck out 9 in 8 scoreless innings while only giving up 2 hits and no walks. Aneurys Zabala struck out 1 in a scoreless inning of relief. Jeter “Churchill” Downs went 2 for 4 with a double, 2 RBI, 2 runs scored, and his 26th stolen base of the year. Jose Garcia went 2 for 5 with a run scored, and Lorenzo “Cain” Cedrola went 2 for 4 with a walk and 2 runs scored.

Dayton plays at 7:00 PM ET.

Billings had the night off. They play at 7:05 PM MT.

Greeneville Reds 4, Burlington Royals 3

Josiah “Jebediah” Gray was dang good once again. He gave up an earned run over 5.2 innings on 4 hits, 1 walk, while striking out 5. Manuel “Sneeze” Cachutt struck out 1 over 2 scoreless. Michael Hernandez went 2 for 4 with a dinger, and Rylan Thomas walked and dingered while scoring 2 runs.

Miguel Medrano will be on the mound tomorrow at 6:30 PM ET.
