Reds at Rockies, Game 1: Preview and Lineups

The Reds will ramp it back up with the Rockies at Great American Ballpark after a Monday off. The MLB Draft is still roaring ahead, which is pretty cool.

But still, the biggest Reds news today is Anthony DeSclafani back in the rotation and getting his first start tonight. The corresponding roster moves are here.

I’m pretty gosh-darned excited to see Disco back on the mound for the Reds. Like, I feel like this game is a must watch. Which, the Reds desperately needs since this, otherwise, has been as season full of must yawn.

• Remember when we thought Winker was gonna ride the pine for days at a time. Glad that was all just as bullshit as it seemed.
• Interestingly enough, Winker, Scooter Gennett, and Scott Schebler are all stuffed into this lineup agains the LHP Freeland. Hmmm.
• Which, of course, means Billy Hamilton is riding the bench tonight.
