Remember when the Cincinnati Reds did that thing where they beat the bejeebers out of everyone they faced for the better part of three weeks? Man, that was fun to watch.
Tyler Mahle will get the start for the Reds on Saturday as they look to eschew their little two-game skid and get back into the win column against the division-leading Milwaukee Brewers. Considering the Reds have largely looked plenty competent against their familiar foes despite ultimately getting handed a pair of losses in the series, here’s to hoping they get a few better breaks on Saturday afternoon and pick up the dubya.
Jhoulys Chacin is still around and firing meatballs for Milwaukee, and he’ll be doing so as their starter for the day.
First pitch is set for 4:10 PM ET, so if you show up at GABP at 7:10 PM ET, you’re going to get stuck in a lot of traffic for nothing.
