The Cincinnati Reds will send Matt Harvey to the mound on Saturday as they look to win their third straight game and claim a series victory over the San Diego Padres. Harvey (1-3, 5.63) is making his 6th start as a Red and will be looking to bounce back after his worst start as a member of the Reds. The Padres will counter with rookie right-hander Eric Lauer. Lauer has had a rough go of it in 2018, putting up a 7.67 ERA over 7 starts.

Other Notes
- If you missed it earlier, Reds’ second baseman Scooter Gennett capped off his incredible month of May by getting named the National League Player of the Month. It’s not exactly shocking, considering he was named NL Player of the Week twice in May, but congratulations to him nonetheless.
- The Reds made a couple roster moves today as they activated relief pitcher Austin Brice from the 10-day disabled list and placed Homer Bailey on the 10-day disabled list. The official word on Bailey’s injury is “Right knee inflammation.”
