After getting blown out by the Colorado Rockies yesterday, the Cincinnati Reds look to bounce back against the slumping Diamondbacks. The Reds will send Homer Bailey to the mound tonight in game 1 of the series. Bailey (1-6, 6.21) has had a rough go of it in 2018. He has given up 10 hits in each of his last 3 starts and is tied for the NL lead in home runs with 13. His counterpart for the Diamondbacks will be Matt Koch. Koch (2-3, 3.77) has had a solid season so far for Arizona. He comes into this game after only allowing 1 run against Milwaukee his last time out in a 1-0 loss. This will be his first career start against the Reds.

Other Notes
- #FreeAlexBlandino
- Apparently Nick Senzel is back and ready to start playing again, as highlighted by this tweet by C. Trent Rosecrans earlier today. John Fay mentioned yesterday that he was playing in extended spring training games in Arizona this weekend, so the fact that the Reds saw enough that let them know that he was ready this quickly is certainly good news.
- Go Reds.
