After a wild finish in a 6-5 victory in game 2, the Cincinnati Reds will look to head out of Colorado with a series victory on Sunday. Trying to lead the team to that win will be Matt Harvey (1-2, 5.49). This will be Harvey’s fourth start as a Red, where he has put up a 2.57 ERA in 14 innings of work. In his career, Harvey has made only one start at Coors Field. That was back in May, 2016 where he allowed 5 earned runs in only 5.2 innings. He will hope to improve upon that on Sunday and keep up his solid work in a Reds uniform.
The Rockies will counter with right-hander German Marquez. Marquez (3-5, 4.62) comes into this game off of his best start of the year. He allowed only 1 run and struck out 5 in 7 innings of work against the Dodgers last Monday. This will be his first career start against the Reds. First pitch is scheduled for 3:10 PM ET.
