The Cincinnati Reds and their 6-game win streak head up the Pacific Coast to take on the San Francisco Giants tonight, fresh off a 4-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The bats are hitting, the bullpen is locking down everything, and the starting rotation has even chipped in with some solid performances in its own right. For the first time in a long time, the Reds appear to be clicking on most every cylinder, and it’s been quite a fun ride for a time.
Sal Romano gets a chance to extend the fun with another start tonight, and he’ll be opposed by Giants starter Chris Stratton.
First pitch is set for 10:15 PM ET, so get your pregame nap in accordingly.

Other Notes
- Yep, totally still weird to see Andrew McCutchen and Evan Longoria in the San Francisco Giants lineup.
- Scooter’s hot week last week earned him NL Player of the Week honors by Major League Baseball, making him the second such Red to win that award this season following Joey Votto. Anytime you’re in the same breath as Joey Votto about pretty much anything this side of baserunning, that’s an awesome, awesome thing.
- Keep going, Reds. It’s so, so nice to watch you go.
